Hillsboro, Nov 27 - Gertrude Fox, 35 years old, wife of Walter Fox died at her home here Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from influenza and tubercular trouble. Death terminated an illness of six weeks. She is survived by her husband and two children; a daughter, Jewell, 17 years old and a son, Francis 13 years old. No arrangements for the funeral have as yet been made. -- typed by kbz

Hillsboro, Nov 29 -- Mrs. Walter Fox died at her home west of here Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock following a lingering illness of tuberculosis. She was stricken with influenza about 7 weeks ago from which she never recovered and which hastened her death. The family was all ill at one time of the disease but the other members soon recovered. Mrs. Gerty Hybarger Fox was 34 years of age and was born near Wallace. She and her family moved to this community about 7 years ago and at the time of her death they were residing on the John Wilt farm west of here. She leaves a husband, one daughter, Juel, aged 16 years; one son, Francis aged 11; a mother, Mrs. Mary Ingersoll of Crawfordsville who has been at her bedside for several days and two half sisters, Mrs. Wretha Sheets of Wingate and Mrs. Vernie Cronen of Crawfordsville and a half brother, Warren Ingersoll, also of Crawfordsville. The funeral service was held from the home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. HA Davis had charge and interment was in the Lutheran Cemetery. -- typed by kbz
